On a cold fall morning, a quiet young man arrived at the Bald Ridge Lodge Group Home carrying only a backpack. His eyes stayed fixed on the ground. I could see he expected this placement to be just another ordeal to endure.

Every November, we extend our deepest thanks to the volunteers who help shape the lives of the young men at Bald Ridge Lodge. Each volunteer brings something unique and invaluable, creating positive change and cherished memories.

Jeni Smith is a local business owner and a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) dedicated to supporting children in foster care in the community.

Join us for the sixth annual Trick or Treating event at Halcyon! In order to limit crowd size and make the event enjoyable for all, registration is required.

Thanks to our amazing community, we have completed our Living Room renovation project!  We kicked off the project thanks to grants from 100 Women who care, Rotary Club of South Forsyth and Forsyth Cumming Optimist Club! Thanks to Room Redux, the family room was transformed into the most amazing living space in just 48 hours!

Thanks to YOU the boys enjoyed another amazing Summer. We were so grateful to beat the heat this summer with days at the lake and time spent hanging by the pool.

The afternoon of October 5th will be a celebration of the Bald Ridge Lodge community with fun and fellowship. Food and beverage will be available to purchase.
