OUR MISSION
The mission of Bald Ridge Lodge (BRL) is to provide safe and stable support to young men in the Group Home, and Community Based Services, in a manner that nurtures the youth, strengthens healthy relationships, and aids young men in their transition to adulthood. This is accomplished through partnerships with caregivers and a community seeking to care for its own.
The vision of Bald Ridge Lodge is that young men impacted by trauma become thriving, self-sufficient adults who stop a generational cycle of involvement in and dependence on social services.

OUR PROGRAMS
GROUP HOME PROGRAM
Bald Ridge Lodge’s Group Home serves young men (age 12 to 21) who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. At Bald Ridge Lodge, our residents live in a safe & therapeutic environment where their basic and therapeutic needs are met. They receive counseling, educational support, mentoring, and life skills. Staff build therapeutic relationships with boys they care for 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Youth in our program are able to heal and grow while experiencing "normal" teen life including having friends, attending public school, participating in extracurricular activities, and achieving teen milestones such as getting a job and learning to drive.
COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES
Bald Ridge Lodge's Community Based Services support young men beyond their time in our Group Home, meeting them wherever they are in their journey toward adulthood. For former residents who have been placed with a family, whether biological, foster, or adoptive, we walk alongside both the young man and his support system, providing coaching, resources, and connection to help that placement succeed and grow into something lasting. For young men who are stepping into independent adulthood, a Life Coach works closely with them to build the social, emotional, and financial skills they need, while connecting them to educational and career opportunities and the relationships that will carry them forward. Whether a young man needs a little support or a lot, we meet him where he is and help him get where he wants to go.
