THANKS(FOR)GIVING: Celebrating Our Incredible Volunteers at Bald Ridge Lodge

Every November, we extend our deepest thanks to the volunteers who help shape the lives of the young men at Bald Ridge Lodge. Each volunteer brings something unique and invaluable, creating positive change and cherished memories. Here are just a few examples.

Dawn Davis volunteers at BRL to introduce young men to the culinary arts, teaching them valuable kitchen skills and how food connects people. Drawing from her personal experience, she encourages them to see that their past doesn’t define their future. Through her mentorship, the young men at BRL are inspired to explore new passions and pursue their goals with confidence.

Christine & Eric Hollingsworth first connected with BRL through their City Church community group and sought a consistent way to make a meaningful impact. After realizing their passion lay in supporting those who care for the boys, They began providing breakfasts and encouragement for staff meetings. Their continuous support makes our staff feel truly cared for, showing them the power of small, thoughtful acts.

John Coyle is a dedicated BRL mentor who provides support, guidance, and genuine connection to the young men at the Lodge. Believing strongly in the power of mentorship, he builds relationships through shared experiences and conversations to help each young man succeed. His commitment creates a community of care and provides a role model invested in their future.

Warren Tran makes a meaningful impact at BRL by providing fun, comforting meals that bring the young men together. After discovering the Lodge by chance, he decided to give back through his love of food, supplying delicious dinners. Warren’s efforts help create joyful, shared moments that foster connection and community at Bald Ridge Lodge.

Each volunteer’s efforts impact not only the lives of our young men but also foster personal growth and joy. We are immensely grateful for every act of kindness, knowing together we’re changing lives and launching new futures.

Thank you to all who make Bald Ridge Lodge a place of hope and opportunity!
