Bald Ridge Lodge (BRL) supports young men ages 12 to 21 who have faced abuse, neglect, and trauma. Our Group Home offers a safe, therapeutic environment where residents receive educational support, healthcare, mental health counseling, and life skills to build a stable future. Our Community Based Services (CBS) provide guidance, resources, and referrals for any young man who has lived with us (and his adult support system), for as long as needed. CBS supports reunification and permanency as well as helping young men living as adults build the skills that independence requires. Like a parent to an adult child, BRL remains a constant. Together, these programs turn the trajectory of their lives toward thriving.
SAFE AND STABLE SUPPORT
Our mission is to provide safe and stable support to young men in the Group Home, and Community Based Services, in a manner that nurtures the youth, strengthens healthy relationships, and aids young men in their transition to adulthood. This is accomplished through partnerships with caregivers and a community seeking to care for its own.

When you support Bald Ridge Lodge, you are providing a home where young men can be safe, have their needs met, heal from their trauma, and experience a normal teenage life. Many young people growing up in foster care experience troubling outcomes. A disturbingly high number never graduate from high school, struggle with unemployment throughout their lives, experience homelessness, and even become incarcerated.

We strive to change the trajectory of our young men’s lives by preparing them for their launch into adulthood with independent living skills, mentoring, educational supports, and access to community resources.
