Morningstar Family Resources: Morningstar Family Resources is a Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program which targets families at risk of disruption or out of home placement for children, families with children at risk of abuse or neglect and families experiencing reunification by providing time-limited, home-based therapeutic and parent education services in an effort to develop an integrated system of community based supports and services. The goal of services is to stabilize and restructure family systems for healthier functioning and to prevent future child abuse and neglect by building on individual and family strengths.
Jesse's House:
Jesse's House is a non-profit organization that grew out of the recognized need for a girls emergency shelter in North Georgia. The combined efforts of Cumming/Forsyth Council on Youth, and Concerned Citizens led to the opening of our current home.
CASA:
Georgia's Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Programs provide an innovative approach to a very urgent crisis. These community-based programs recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers to provide individualized advocacy for these innocent victims and an independent source of information for the judge who must decide their future.
The Georgia Jumpstart Program:
The Georgia Jumpstart Program is a 10-week youth prevention and decision making skills program that works with the youth and their families who are at risk or involved for the first time in the Juvenile Justice System.
