Norman's Landing presented the Bald Ridge Lodge of Forsyth County with a check for $1,818.75.

The money was raised from recent ping pong tournaments held at Norman's Landing, located at 365 Peachtree Parkway in Cumming.

Event brings in $20,000

More than 150 competitors hit the links recently for the Bald Ridge Boys Lodge, a nonprofit center serving at-risk boys ages 12-17.

The lodge held its annual “For the Boys” Golf Classic at Windermere Golf Club on June 15.

Sawnee Elementary School students made sure the holidays came early for the Bald Ridge Lodge.

The entire school, led by 155 students in the Horizons program, worked to collect board games, snack and other items to donate to the Lodge. A group of fifth-graders gathered Dec. 18 to load up all the toys for their trip to the Lodge.
